The Carl Davis Jr., M.D. Medical Library
The Carl Davis Jr., M.D. Medical Library provides resource and information services to all members of Rush North Shore Medical Center. Our medical librarian can provide instruction and assistance in locating materials and conducting searches.
Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN)
We offer a financial award program to provide benefits to new graduates of Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) programs. This includes providing funds to assist in repaying loans or other expenses incurred by new graduates in obtaining their education.
Financial Education
MetLife and Bank One (J.P. Chase Morgan), two of our financial partners, team up to offer quarterly financial seminars on topics ranging from first time home buyers to retirement planning.
Insurance Days
BCBS (Medical), Guardian (Dental) and UnumProvident (Life Insurance) participate quarterly in Insurance Institute Days where employees may ask questions of representatives from BCBS, Guardian and Unum.
Leadership Development Program
Rush North Shore's Leadership Development Program is tailored toward all management levels, with the audience consisting of both new and experienced managers. The workshops cover a variety of topics and are designed to allow the open sharing of ideas and experiences. Leadership Workshops are supplemented by online resources, leadership audio-conferences, business videos and management books. The Organizational Development Department is also available to any manager who requests help in any management discipline.
