Chemotherapy/Medical Oncology

Medical Oncologists on staff at Rush North Shore Medical Center continue to demonstrate a commitment to providing the best possible care to cancer patients. Participation in clinical trials, both locally and nationally, allows patient access to many of the newest and most exciting therapies. Our patients have the opportunity to participate in some trials not available except in a few areas across the country.

We continue our close affiliation with Rush University Medical Center and our patients have access to treatment protocols and expert advice from this collaboration.

Outpatient Infusion Center

People who need chemotherapy and other medication infusions can spend hours at infusion centers. At Rush North Shore, we’ve designed a facility with their needs in mind. Staffed by nurses with advanced certifications in oncology and equipped to provide state-of-the-art care, our outpatient infusion center features spacious, private rooms with comfortable recliners and flat-screen TVs with DVD players. Our goal was to create an ideal atmosphere for these often time-consuming treatments.
