Surgery
Surgery is never something our doctors will jump into without first exploring all the options. A multidisciplinary Tumor Board meets weekly to consult on individual cases for treatment options. And if deemed critical to your course of treatment, a variety of research protocols are made available to qualified patients.
Our surgeons are highly qualified and board-certified physicians who specialize in many areas, including surgical oncology, such as for the breast, upper gastrointestinal, liver, pancreas, colorectal and melanoma. New available technologies are:
- radiofrequency ablation of liver tumors
- laparoscopic colon resection
- sentinel lymph node biopsy for melanoma and breast cancer
